Masaru Takiguchi is a member of the Corporation and Business Law Committee of Chicago Bar Association, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials; a member of the Finance Committee of Habilitative Systems Inc., the largest African-American managed, not-for-profit social service agency in Chicago area and a member of the Japanese American Citizens League.

He has served as arbitration panelist for the Circuit Court of Cook County Mandatory Arbitration and as a Moderator at 2000 Regional Exchange Congress held in Oak Park.

The law firm of Masaru Takiguchi has participated in bono programs delivering a variety of legal services to income qualified individuals in Cook County since Mr. Takiguchi started practicing law.
